fleece surprises!

LHF # 843 is a Single 15/16 Finn lamb with White Spotting on the head and face. He was born “off black/matt black” and his wool grew into this beautiful Moorit color…what a surprise yesterday when I parted his fleece and found a wonderful Medium Grey that is consistent front to back! He has a dense fleece with about 12 crimps to an inch! One of our visiting hand-spinner friends said “He easily has the best spinning fleece on your farm this year.” His Dam is Gentle-Heart LHF #730 (dark brown ewe) and his sire is Sultan #586. Sultan is featured on Our Finnsheep page. Gentle Heart is 7/8 Finn (Class II available) making LHF #843 eligible to be registered as a Class II with the Finnsheep Breeders Association. FOR SALE:
